Biography

Vomic Nur Shah is Global Head of Origination and Client Coverage at UK Export Finance (UKEF), the UK's export credit agency, where he oversees its overseas business origination and international network. He previously led UKEF's business development for Europe, Eurasia, the Middle East and Asia Pacific, and gave evidence to the House of Commons International Trade Committee in May 2021. Before joining government he worked in corporate and investment banking at Citigroup, Standard Bank and HSBC, and most recently at Societe Generale in London, where he headed its Mining and Natural Resources sector.
