Biography

Saad Ul Islam is an Investment Director in the infrastructure equity team at British International Investment (BII), the UK's development finance institution, which he joined in 2016. He leads investments in renewable power, transmission and distribution, and water utilities, and sits on the board of Africa Water Infrastructure Development (AWID), BII's joint venture with Metito. He previously worked at HgCapital and Citigroup and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics.
