Biography

Laurence Robertson is Chief Executive and Deputy Chairman of the Westminster Africa Business Association (WABA), which brings together politicians, diplomats and businesses to build trade and investment links between the UK and Africa. He was the Conservative Member of Parliament for Tewkesbury from 1997 to 2024 and chaired the House of Commons Northern Ireland Affairs Committee from 2010 to 2017. He served as the Prime Minister's Trade Envoy to Angola and Zambia from 2020, with Ethiopia added to his remit in 2023.
