Biography
Chaba Mokuku leads the Competitiveness and Financial Inclusion (CAFI) Project, a Government of Lesotho programme financed by the World Bank and run through the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Business Development. CAFI began in 2022 and supports micro, small and medium enterprises, particularly those led by women and young people, through an entrepreneurship hub, matching grants and work on access to finance. Mokuku has described the project as a catalyst for private sector growth and has worked with private institutions and the Central Bank of Lesotho on new financing products and the country's credit structure.
